Benn and Liz James serve as the youth ministers at Cornerstone. Benn is originally from south Florida and Liz is from Illinois. Benn moved to the Valdosta area 11 years ago and Liz moved here 10 years ago. They met at New Covenant Church shortly after moving to Valdosta. Benn is a Rhema Bible College graduate and Liz is a graduate of ABAC. They were married on the beach in Sarasota, FL on June 5, 2004. They have one son, Sam Eli James. Benn is a successful entrepreneur who has founded and developed such companies as Big Benn ’s Tile Company and Grassy Pine Properties. He is also very involved in the stock market and enjoys option trading. Liz has a nutritional supplements business that produces high quality health and body products. Benn’s hobbies include golf, water skiing, and turkey hunting. Liz enjoys sports. They both love to travel and spend time together on the lake.
